When you plan your next meeting or conference at the University of Oregon, we’ll throw in a gorgeous, natural backdrop for no extra charge. After all, National Geographic magazine ranks our hometown first in the nation for air quality and green space, and our immersion in nature sets us apart from many other conference locations.
Our 295-acre campus features towering trees and a jaw-dropping landscape. Our summers are pretty much perfect, and it’s an easy drive from the campus to the Oregon coast and the Cascade Mountains. Our staff can help you incorporate a natural wonder or two into your conference schedule.
We offer a wide range of meeting spaces and overnight accommodations. From department meetings to national conferences, we are ready to host your event.
Pay no attention to the people behind the curtain! Our on-site event coordinators and AV technicians will provide you with the expert support you need to stage a memorable and smoothly executed event.

Green Is What We Do
The University of Oregon is uncommonly committed to environmental sustainability. Let our professionals help you paint your event green.
Here are some examples:
- We can provide reusable water bottles rather than throwaway ones
- We can offer recycling bins in each room for paper, plastic, and glass
- Ask our catering team to provide compostable products (they do it all the time here)
- We have information for you on “zero waste conferencing”
